Requirements

Your chapter-wide goal is $200 per active member, based on the final roster including new members. Each member has an individual fundraising goal of $200. While individual goals are important, meeting the chapter-wide goal is mandatory and must be achieved by November 17th.

Need-based financial waivers are available for eligible students, with applications due by October 13.

Budget

Once your chapter-wide goal is met, your chapter will receive its budget allocation of $50 per active member.

Additionally, 95% of any funds raised beyond your chapter-wide goal will go directly towards your chapter's budget.

Please refer to the Budget FAQ document for details on utilizing your TAMID funds, spending policies, and other related information.

Road to Success

Plan Ahead

It is best to meet with your Executive Board as soon as possible to make a plan. Create a semester roadmap that outlines your timeline and strategies for achieving your goals. Make a chapter-wide announcement to all active members to keep everyone informed. It is crucial to set earlier deadlines rather than relying on last-minute ones. Additionally, ensure that your roster is accurate and submitted on time.

Get Creative

All fundraising strategies are welcome! Historically, a phone-a-thon has proven to be the most effective, but it’s important to choose the approach that will work best for your chapter. Focus on getting your chapter involved, engaged, and excited to maximize your fundraising efforts!

Be Persistent

Announce the campaign to the chapter as soon as possible and remind members frequently. Hold them accountable for their involvement and provide individual attention where needed. Remember, it’s okay to “be annoying” to ensure everyone stays engaged and on track!
