Project Simulation

The education capstone project for your new members to apply what they've learned

You will use past TAMID consulting projects as case studies. Education members will have the opportunity to select a project to analyze. While each of these cases has a different primary focus, each case can be used as a teaching tool

Requirements

  • Divide the education cohort into teams of 3-4 members.
  • Each team should have a mentor from your chapter leadership team who can help guide them through this experiential consulting simulation.
  • Each team should create a slide deck and video presentation that addresses the problem presented in the project description.

IMPORTANT NOTE: While we encourage teams to thoroughly research the company and its market, please do NOT contact the company directly.

Projects

Presentation Guidelines

  • The presentations should be 10-15 minutes long.
  • Each team member must participate in creating and presenting the slides.
  • We recommend that each slide deck follows a cohesive narrative, color palette, and presentation template.
  • Cite your sources clearly (the format doesn’t matter).
  • Each presentation will be judged on the content, collaboration, design, presentation style, and originality.

Incentive

The winning chapter will be awarded an additional $100 in their Chapter Budget for the Fall 2024 semester. You will also be featured on TAMID Group’s official LinkedIn and Instagram page!

  • Porter’s 5 Forces
  • market sizing
  • competitive analysis
