Project Simulation

A reimagined education capstone for new members

This semester, past TAMID consulting projects will be used as case studies. New members will have the opportunity to select a project to analyze. While each of these cases has a different primary focus, each case can be used as a teaching tool for the course of the semester. Each chapter's best presentation should be submitted by December 15.

Requirements

  • Divide the education cohort into teams of 3-4 members.
  • Each team should have a mentor from your chapter leadership team who can help guide them through this experiential consulting simulation.
  • Each team should create a slide deck and video presentation that addresses the problem presented in the project description.

IMPORTANT NOTE: While we encourage teams to thoroughly research the company and its market, please do NOT contact the company directly.

Projects

*If your chapter is interested in self-selecting a consulting project members of your chapter have worked on, please complete this form. Upon submission, TAMID staff will review the information and be in touch with you about approval.

Presentation Guidelines

  • The presentations should be 10-15 minutes long.
  • Each team member must participate in creating and presenting the slides.
  • We recommend that each slide deck follows a cohesive narrative, color palette, and presentation template.
  • Cite your sources clearly (the format doesn’t matter).
  • Each presentation will be judged on the content, collaboration, design, presentation style, and originality.

Incentive

The winning chapter will be awarded an additional $100 in their Chapter Budget for the Spring 2024 semester.  Additionally, we can feature your chapter on TAMID Group’s official LinkedIn and Instagram page!

  • Porter’s 5 Forces
