Education Track

Educating others about Israel is even more important in this moment. As such, we encourage Directors of Education to move forward with the Education curriculum as planned. Consider incorporating a discussion about the war's impact on Israel's economy, like the resources below.

Consulting Track

With more than 300,000 Israelis being called to active duty, the tragic situation in Israel has far-reaching consequences. In terms of your TAMID Consulting project, this can manifest itself in several ways; your project scope may need to change a little, your Point of Contact may no longer be available, the project may be canceled, and in some situations your company may be completely offline.

Use this form to keep us updated about the status of your project.

Fellowship 2024

Safety and security are always our paramount concern when planning the Fellowship. We are proceeding with optimism that the Fellowship will run as normal, but also have contingency plans with our program partners should it be necessary. If any changes are made to the current schedule, an email will be sent out to all accepted Fellows.

Shadow

Responding and Acting

Always reach out if you have other questions not addressed here

As a non-political organization, TAMID historically has not released statements or directly gotten involved with activism on campus. However, there is nothing political about our standing with the people of Israel and against Hamas, terrorism, and antisemitism.

TAMID staff stand ready to offer support to all chapters and members and serve as a resource for dealing with any issues that may arise on campus. Please do not hesitate to reach out to your campus leadership, or TAMID professional staff (campus@tamid.org) to ask any questions you may have whether it’s about dealing with issues on campus, navigating social media, planning events, drafting statements, or otherwise.

Over 300,000 Israelis have been called up for reserve duty over the past few days and many of those who haven’t are focused on grieving, volunteerism, and the safety of their loved ones. Many Israeli companies (particularly startups) have suspended regular business operations until further notice.

For Consulting Project Managers, please keep this in mind over the next few weeks — reach out to your Israeli points of contact to offer them your support, and ask if there’s anything you can do to support them, their families, or their companies. If your company does not contact you to continue, do not ask them to meet, fill out a project scope, or otherwise expect anything from them in a TAMID context. In the meantime, try to continue to work without their input. If you need help making a decision regarding how to continue, please contact us at consulting@tamidgroup.org.

There are many organizations supporting Israel and Israelis during these challenging times.

Mental Health Support to Survivors

  • NATAL (the Israel Trauma and Resiliency Center): Apolitical organization providing multidisciplinary treatment and support to direct and indirect victims of trauma due to the terror in Israel.
  • Better Help: Offering 6 months of therapy at no cost for those affected in Israel.

Emergency Services

  • United Hatzalah: Community-based volunteer emergency medical services organization providing emergency relief to those injured in Israel.
  • Magen David Adom: Israel’s national emergency medical, disaster, ambulance, and blood bank service.
  • Soroka Hospital: Hospital treating hundreds of wounded in Be’er Sheva.

Terror Victims

Stay informed and show your solidarity.

  • Check-in on your friends: Reach out to your Israeli and Jewish friends and your consulting or fellowship companies to say you’re thinking of them. This is a tough time and a simple WhatsApp message goes a long way.
  • Keep up to date: Times of Israel & YNet are English news sources that provide updates on the situation.
  • Support Israeli Businesses: Here is a list of Israeli businesses from which people can purchase products and services.
If you are moved to raise public awareness at this time, here are some ideas for how to do so:
  • Talk: Share your experience and perspective with friends.
  • Campus: You can get involved on your campus. Many campus communities have petitions/letters where you can show your support.
  • Organize: Interested in a guest speaker to provide updates and context to your chapter? Let us know – we can help make connections!
  • News media: Share your perspective in local newspapers and media outlets. Write an Op-Ed, speak to a reporter, or engage in posted content.
  • Social Media: Post, share, and like to spread awareness. Be mindful of the source of the information and always be on the lookout for misinformation before sharing anything.

With so many Israelis being called up to reserve duty, it has left a gap in employment. This website aims to provide staffing relief to those companies that need help with their sales positions.

The job consists of contacting professionals in medium and large companies with the target of bringing them to a call with a company sales executive. They’re looking for both volunteers and people who want to be paid. Employees can work from anywhere, at any time of the day. You will receive a brief training and a script of what to say.
