TAMID will host three global pitch competitions over the course of the semester. While participation in the pitch competitions is optional, it is highly encouraged. It gives you the opportunity to apply your knowledge in real pitch scenarios, receive feedback, and interact with industry professionals. Detailed instructions can be found in the Fund Handbook below.
You can choose either an Israeli company, or a company with demonstrable connections to Israel. Then you will create a stock pitch based on your chosen company, pitching the trade for TAMID to consider executing in the TAMID portfolio.
Teams will create a take-private proposal and build an LBO model and pitch deck. Teams will choose a target and craft a memo that includes an overview of the target, its industry, an investment thesis, and LBO valuation analysis.
This will have the same structure as the first pitch. It will be due on the same day as the PE pitch, and teams can choose whether to submit the stock pitch or the PE pitch.
Due: October 20, 11:59 pm EST
Due: December 15, 11:59 pm EST
Due: December 15, 11:59 pm EST
Chapters should hold an internal stock pitch competition to decide which pitch should be submitted for the deadline. TAMID Global will review 2 submissions per chapter per round.
The 5 best pitches from each round will have their trades executed in our portfolio, as well as get the opportunity to present their pitch to a panel of professional judges, receive feedback, and ask questions! The overall winner, as decided by the judges, will receive a $150 prize that will be added to their chapter’s budget.
The latest season is about Nikola which will be very relevant to anyone who participated in the market madness in the past two years.
