TAMID Staff: Adina Remz, Fellowship Assistant Director
Fellowship Friends and Family,
My name is Adina Remz, TAMID Group’s Fellowship Assistant Director, and next week will be my one year work-anniversary with TAMID.
Before joining TAMID on a professional level, I was lucky enough to host an outstanding TAMID Fellow from Brandeis University while working for a startup in Tel Aviv. Having had the opportunity to host a TAMID Fellow, I’ve seen firsthand the impact that TAMID has on the individual level on each participant. Now in my current position, I see how the impact on the individual translates to a transformative experience for hundreds of future business leaders.
Currently, TAMID staff is deep in summer program and logistical planning. It is going to be an incredible summer experience for close to 240 TAMID Fellows!
Our team is working closely with students and companies alike to match 2018 Fellows with meaningful and productive internship placements. This year, we are excited to launch a new initiative which will provide Fellows with the opportunity to join professional development tracks, based on their industries of interest. The TAMID team is also working closely with Israel Experience, our service partners, to plan exciting and fruitful weekend trips.
As I approach my second summer Fellowship, I look forward to continuing to work with the TAMID student leaders to provide life-changing experiences. Each Fellow comes to the summer with certain goals and expectations. These may be professional development, learning about a new culture and/or possibly developing an entirely new skill set by venturing out of their comfort zone. Most importantly, I am excited to help facilitate students’ strengthening their relationship with Israel through experiencing the Israeli startup ecosystem.
Whether you are an incoming Fellowship family member, or friend, I want to make sure you know we are always available by email: development@tamidgroup.org.
We look forward to an unforgettable summer.
Originally from Boston, prior to TAMID Adina worked in business development at a startup in Tel Aviv. In addition, Adina previously served as Executive Director of the Jewish Disaster Response Corps (JDRC) where she professionalized operations and organizational systems, grew the board, increased fundraising, and positioned JDRC for a successful merger. Adina lives in Tel Aviv with her Scottish husband and when she’s not connecting future business leaders to Israel, she enjoys exploring every side street of Israel.
